Fee Payments: Can be made via Credit or Debit Cards, Cash, Business Check, Money Orders and Paypal. Artists average about $85.00 and up, per hour with a 2 hour minimum for any service. Client must pay for a minimum of 2 hours even if Client uses Artist for less than 2 Hours. The quote provided is based on how many hours an artist is needed for, the type of event and amount of guests expected to be painted. One Artist can paint 10 - 15 faces per hour depending on the intricacy of the designs that are chosen. Be sure to book your time accordingly to avoid leaving any guest out.
Booking Fee: Event date is not set until $50.00 non-refundable booking fee is paid and we have confirmed that we are available on the date. Fee should be paid at least 2 weeks prior to your event unless other arrangements have been made and is deducted from your total quoted price. Booking fee can be paid by following the PayPal link on the "Payments Page" at www.LuzCruz.com.
Travel/Setup/Other Fees: Travel fees apply when the event is more than 60 minutes from 30096, Duluth, Georgia. Generally $25 per Artist, per half hour increment. Parking fees must be paid to the artist with other event payment. Should a check be returned, Client is responsible for any returned check fees and court fees associated with the booking of this event. Artist will arrive with a table please provide 1 or 2 adult size chairs. A tent can be provided for $25.00.
Parking: Please leave a space open in front of the house on the street, the driveway, or loading dock so Artist can unload equipment and have sufficient parking space. The Client will reimburse Artists for any parking fees.
Indoor Setup: Please provide a table or partial space on a table and 2 chairs per Artist, adequate bathroom facilities, lighting and a place to dispose of our water. We will need 15 minutes to set up/take down.
Outdoor Setup (Weather): Client agrees to provide shelter from extreme temperatures from the sun, rain, snow and excessive wind. A table and 2 chairs per Artist, bathroom facilities, adequate lighting and a place to dispose of our water. We will need 15 minutes to set up/take down. Client is responsible to provide an alternate indoor location in the event of inclement weather. The Client agrees to pay the full amount contracted once the painter has arrived at the event location, even if it is raining. Please list an alternate indoor location as we do not offer refunds due to inclement weather.
Breaks and Stop Time: Artists will have paid breaks of 15 minutes every 2 hours and access to a restroom. It is the Client’s responsibility to limit additional guest from requesting service after the booked time. Please book enough time to have all your guests painted to avoid disappointment. PLEASE do not ask us to disappoint any guests due to the lack of time booked. Sometimes we have an event booked right after yours and we may not be able to accommodate the unexpected lapse in contracted time. If you exceed the time booked and we are available to stay, we will be glad too and it can be charged in hourly increments. Client will pay for the time booked plus overrun, even if Client has delayed the time we start the actual painting. The balance of all charges are due on the day of the event.
Cancellations / Refunds / Reschedule: Should Client need to reschedule the event please do so at least 7 days prior and we will make every effort to meet your needs. If client does not reschedule within 7 days and cancels the event within 24 hours Client is responsible to pay the total contracted amount set aside for them. All deposits are non-refundable. **We do not offer refunds for inclement weather so please secure an alternate indoor location for your event in advance.* Should our Artist get sick/have to cancel, we will find a replacement Artist in advance.
Limitations on Artwork: In public, artists will not paint on any part of the body that is not legal to expose, so please do not ask. Artist will not paint anything offensive or disturbing.
Extreme Adverse Working Conditions: Artist has the right to cease painting and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions include but are not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, pet or adult, illegal activities, or otherwise dangerous conditions.
Liability Statement: While we use FDA ONLY approved cosmetic grade face painting supplies, Artist is not liable for allergic reactions of anyone to paints. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of the event. Client understands that darker face paints will linger and paint must be removed with mild soap, water and washcloth. For safety reasons, Artist will not paint children under 2 years old or anyone who is unwilling. For sanitary reasons, Artist will not paint anyone who is or appears to the Artist to be sick or suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, any infectious skin condition or open wounds. These determinations are at the Artists discretion. Artists will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property. The Client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries caused by pets or guests, and/or any damage to Artist’s equipment or supplies caused by pets, lawn sprinklers, or guests. Under no circumstances will Artist supervise children. Their behavior and safety is the Client’s and/or Parent’s responsibly.
